Handbell Choir: We just started a new handbell choir at St. Peter’s!  Rehearsal time is on Thursdays from 6:00 – 6:45p.m. starting on September 9.  The director of the handbell choir will be Cheryl Keckler.  She may be contacted at bellchoirdirector@stpeterscarmel.org.   

Chancel Choir: Join us for a choir practice and party on September 9 at 5:00pm at our director of music’s home.  Weekly choir rehearsals will follow on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30p.m.  The choir also rehearses on Sunday mornings from 10:15-10:50a.m.  Please join us.  Questions?  Contact Dave Morton at musicdirector@stpeterscarmel.org or 846-6882 x301.

Children’s Music: Every Sunday, beginning on September 19, a gathering time in the choir room is offered for children ages 3-5th grade.  All children are invited to participate from 10:00-10:15a.m. before the rest of their Education Hour classes.  Elaine Akermann will lead this group in learning to sing and sign special songs for the congregation.  Contact Elaine at assocmusicdirector@stpeterscarmel.org or 846-6882 x302 with questions.

Special Music: Due to the great success of the summer special music that was shared during the summer months we would like to continue hearing more special music. Join Us for a Special Celebration – November 21
A “Thanksgiving Celebration” will be held during both services on Sunday November 21, 2010. These services will include the chancel choir, children’s choir, preschool, instrumental ensembles, vocal solos and small ensembles. This will be a celebration that will also involve special music and a sing-a-long of familiar hymns.
