  • For this week’s Monday Meditation, I offer these JOYS from YOU, St. Peter’s.

  • Governance Council has offered our St. Peter’s worship staff the opportunity to truly enjoy a week off. As such, Lori will not produce an online worship video for the week of September 6 and will be off August 31-September 7. Printed worship materials will be emailed to the congregation next week. Please pray for our staff as they continue to offer meaningful worship experiences and tend to their own spirits during this pandemic season. For their renewal and their rest, we pray. (As always, Lori will be available for pastoral emergencies. Contact the office to be connected.)

  • Earlier this summer, I asked all of our staff to set goals for their work and development this year, and I shared with them that I wouldn’t ask them to set goals if I wasn’t doing the same. One of my goals is to read a non-work-related book per quarter.

  • So, yesterday was the 104th running of the Indianapolis 500. I don’t usually care that much about this local (international?) tradition. Except that I do. Let me explain.

  • I was at Marott Park the other day; we went creek-stomping. While splashing in the water and enjoying an afternoon of stretching my body and my spirit in new ways, I found my next worry stone. I’ve been holding it ever since.
