  • As you embrace this day, continue praying for our health care workers, our teachers, and so many more as the Covid-19 numbers keep climbing.

  • Walking this morning, it was hard not to take in the splendidness of this day. The sky is a perfect fall blue, the air crisp but not bitter, and the leaves still fragrant and crunching. I’m grateful for moments and days like this that allow me to rest in a moment and image of gratitude.

  • For this week’s Monday Meditation, I offer these JOYS from YOU, St. Peter’s.

  • Governance Council has offered our St. Peter’s worship staff the opportunity to truly enjoy a week off. As such, Lori will not produce an online worship video for the week of September 6 and will be off August 31-September 7. Printed worship materials will be emailed to the congregation next week. Please pray for our staff as they continue to offer meaningful worship experiences and tend to their own spirits during this pandemic season. For their renewal and their rest, we pray. (As always, Lori will be available for pastoral emergencies. Contact the office to be connected.)

  • Earlier this summer, I asked all of our staff to set goals for their work and development this year, and I shared with them that I wouldn’t ask them to set goals if I wasn’t doing the same. One of my goals is to read a non-work-related book per quarter.
